Mail and calendar in one app

An email turns into an appointment.

01

The essentials first.

Every email starts with a few short bullet points, created on your device. You know what it’s about before you read it.

02

The appointment catches your eye.

When an email mentions an appointment or brings an invitation, DayLoft shows it right beside the email and checks your calendar: are you free?

03

One key, and it’s in.

Press K or tap to add it. The email and the event stay linked, on your iPhone too.

What else DayLoft does differently

Little things that bring a lot of calm.

New senders knock first.

Anyone writing to you for the first time waits until you let them in. Decide once, and it holds for every email after that.

Your mail stays yours

No DayLoft server in between.

DayLoft server doesn’t exist

Your emails travel only between your device and your mail provider. Whatever DayLoft itself stores lives on your devices and in your own iCloud. The details are in the privacy policy.

And the AI?

As much as you want. Wherever you want.

DayLoft summarizes emails, drafts replies, translates and finds appointments. Whether that happens, and where, is your call in Settings. None of it is required.

Where the AI works
  • Summarizeruns on its own Off On your device Apple Private Cloud New mail: Mistral AIolder mail on your device
  • Draft repliesonly when you tap On your device Apple Private Cloud Mistral AI
  • Translateonly when you tap On your device
  • Find appointmentsruns on its own Off On your device

Summaries and appointment detection each have a switch in Settings. Reply drafts and translations only ever happen when you tap for them.

This is how DayLoft is set up if you change nothing. No text leaves your device. It needs a device with Apple Intelligence.

Apple’s larger model, on Apple’s own servers. Apple doesn’t store the texts and can’t see them, and independent experts can verify that. Without a connection, your device takes over. This option is still in preparation.

Only with your explicit consent. Only newly arriving emails get summarized, your archive never leaves the device. A reply draft goes out only when you tap, with just the one email you’re replying to. On the way, a small DayLoft function in Frankfurt passes the text along without storing it. That is the only place where DayLoft passes anything on at all.

All the details are in the privacy policy.
